Ok, what if. What if a movie blatantly called Inception was actually a product of my dreaming mind, meant for the inception of the idea that this world isn't real? And it's saying I should reach for a more fulfilling, truthful life on another plane of consciousness? So maybe someone somewhere's been telling me with this pop culture needle in the whole of human creation, that I've been dreaming all along and I should put an end to it. But like Cobb and Mal, I've got no way to verify this, and no way to know whether I should consider there's one state truer than the rest. That would be insane, right?

I guess that's why, even with the stupid amount of gunfire and the at-times pompous score and the ever-talkative screenplay, it still feels like the most important Nolan movie.
